Where do I vote? A roundup of Chittenden County spots if you plan to vote in person

Vermont is sending all active registered voters mail-in ballots for the November election, but voting the old-fashioned way — in person on Election Day at the local polling station — remains an option.

For those choose to forgo dropping their ballots in the mail, a message on the Secretary of State’s Office election website reads, “in-person voting is still available, subject to the polling place safety guidelines we developed with the Vermont Department of Health, following CDC best practices.”

The Secretary of State’s Office is encouraging Vermonters to take advantage of mail-in voting and to vote early (by Oct. 24) “to reduce contact at polling places and to ensure clerks and postal workers have ample time to deliver and process your ballot.”
